We are SO excited to be partnering with Mackenzie's Animal Sanctuary aka "the Mack pack" to bring a free story time to Bettie's that features some adoptable dog friends from their organization! Join us for a super fun reading of "A pack of your own"

A Pack of Your Own is a warm and funny story about friendship in a dog’s world. With exquisitely sweet illustrations, readers are invited to ask themselves questions about friendship. How much should one adapt in order to be accepted and valued by others? Do we really need to be similar in order to be friends? And can a dachshund and a poodle be friends despite their differences?
Note that Mackenzie's does not offer same day adoptions, but there will be lots of information about their org, what they do for the dogs they help, the adoption process, and opportunity to fill out adoption applications!
