Community Planting Day - Taiaotea Reserve
Join Restore Hibiscus & Bays for our community planting day at Taiaotea Reserve, Browns Bay — and help us plant native trees and shrubs to support local biodiversity and create valuable habitat for our unique native flora and fauna.
We're excited to be joined by the Taiaotea Air Scouts for this one — and we'd love to have local families and individuals along too.
The more hands the better! 🌱
📍 Access the reserve next to 700 Beach Road, Browns Bay (beside the Air Scout Hall)
📅 Sunday 30 August
⏰ 10am – 12pm
What to bring
Gardening gloves
Clean spade if you have one
Water and snacks
Sturdy shoes or gumboots
Raincoat just in case!
Tools, plants, and guidance all provided. Family-friendly and beginner-friendly — no experience needed, just bring your energy and willingness to get stuck in!
