TAI CHI SWORD CLASS — registration is now Open. Classes are on Monday’s, 6-7pm at the South Burlington Senior Center at 180 Market st.

Join South Burlington Instructor Bo-Yee Poon for this Adult Tai Chi Sword Class! Fluid gentle movements of softness and power as are typical of Chen Style Tai Chi, with a bit of added weight from the sword.
This is not only a great extension of your limbs and mind intent, but also good for maintaining muscle tone and strength.
Beginners welcome, no experience necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers that you can move easily in.
Swords will be available for use during class; you may purchase your own sword if desired at www.kungfudirect.com.
Please note: NO CLASS on August 12th.
More about Bo: My name is Bo. I grew up in Shelburne, went K - 12, graduated from CVU. I then move out to Lake Tahoe for my undergraduate. Then to Beijing for my master's in 2004. I've been training Tai Chi since childhood and began assistant coaching at Tsinghua University in 2007/2008. I've taught and coached Taichi, Bagua, traditional martial arts, and contemporary Wushu since. I've won multiple international medals in each category abroad as well as across the U.S. My hope is to now share and coach in the community that I grew up in.
