Tai Chi for Self-Care (M2)

• When: Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm CT, from January 13th - February 17th, 2026 (6-sessions total).

• Facilitator: Cindy Hui-Lio, EdD., Certified Tai Chi Facilitator.
• Where: Hybrid (option to join in-person or virtual - more info below)

This series utilizes Tai Chi principles to increase mind-body connection, release tension, and improve awareness of daily movement such as: walking, standing, and sitting. Movements includes standing and sitting postures, stepping, and weight shifting along with coordinated breathing and gentle upper body movement.

All Osher Movement Classes are facilitated by an instructor with experience and specific training working with participants with chronic pain and conditions.

M2 classes are suitable for those comfortable moving independently. Modifications available if support of a chair or the wall is needed.

• In-person classes sessions will be held at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt at 3401 West End Avenue, Suite 380, Nashville TN 37203 (entrance is through the parking garage in the back of the building). Additional logistical information will be emailed to you prior to the class start date.

• Virtual class sessions will be accessible through the My Health at Vanderbilt portal (available through your web browswer and/or the MyHealth at Vanderbilt app). More info will be provided to join class upon registration.

Participants may cancel up to one week before start date without penalty, after that date, there is a 20% cancellation fee. No refund is available after the class start date.
