Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, being offered by Council on Aging, improves both mental and physical balance, which can significantly reduce the rate of falls in older adults by nearly 70%. Each session is FREE, but we do ask that you register. Older adults and caregivers are invited to join one of our eight-week sessions that meet twice per week from 9/8 through 10/29. You'll learn:
- Warm up and cool down exercises
- 1-2 core movements per session
- Breathing techniques
- Principles related to physical and mental balance
