TAHA Tracy Animal Shelter Volunteering

TAHA volunteers on the last Friday of the month at the Tracy Animal Shelter. 10 kids are allowed to help at a time. Please RSVP on each date at least 2 days before so I can call and let them know how many will be joining.
We get to either help clean cat kennels then play & cuddle kitties or help with dog enrichment (making dog treats). Each day there is sweeping, laundry, and dishes to do. And parents can check out a dog to walk too! They do have a day program should you want to take a doggie out for the day to spoil them (but that’s a separate program and not required. Dog walking is also optional).
Make sure to log hours as well. TAHA wants to rewards students with volunteer hours. See comments for link to form.
This is for all ages but requires parents to stay. A waiver must also be filled out (just once and they keep it on hand).
