Tagore ki Kahaniyaan - Dramatised story reading

Kabiguru Biswakavi or lovingly called Robi Thakur- Yes we are talking about the multifaceted genius ​Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore a polymath who is described “at once as a writer music composer teacher​ philosopher & humanitarian nationalist social reformer painter director choreographer actor. His talents were manifold. Any account of his accomplishments runs the risk of being inadvertently left incomplete.

The month of May this year marks the 166th birth anniversary of the maestro. And as a humble tribute we are organizing a dramatized story reading session to pay gratitude to the Nobel laureate. From his mammoth talents we have picked up the genre of short stories for the evening. 

Tagore’s portrayal of women character is unique in itself. The characters display distinct strengths in their own context. They are probably not heroic but leave an indelible mark on mind and soul of the reader..

Join us as we put together a handful of Tagore’s women in literature via dramatized readings..

NOTE:

1) It is NOT required for you to know Bangla. We will be reading Hindi/English translations for ease of understanding. 

2) We have limited seats so prior booking is necessary.
