TAFELMUSIK

Telemann’s brilliant Tafelmusik was written to illuminate grand feasts and festive gatherings, bringing a spirit of refinement, warmth, and conviviality to the table. Presented complete as Production III, the program unfolds in the grand style of an 18th-century banquet, featuring a sparkling French overture, intimate smaller ensembles, a double horn concerto, and a jubilant conclusion for full ensemble. Rich in contrast, color, and camaraderie, this performance invites you to savor the brilliance and companionship at the heart of Baroque music-making this holiday season.
