Taco Fest has quickly grown into one of Huntington’s most exciting community food festivals. Each year, thousands of attendees gather at Harris Riverfront Park to celebrate food, culture, and community through a wide variety of taco-inspired cuisine.
Past Taco Fest events have drawn 2,000–5,000 attendees, bringing together local restaurants, food trucks, chefs, families, students, and visitors from across the Tri-State area.
In 2026, Taco Fest returns with a brand-new theme:
Tacos & Tailgates
The event will take place the Saturday before Marshall University opens the 2026 football season against Penn State, creating the perfect opportunity to combine tailgating culture with creative taco cuisine.
With Marshall students back in town and football excitement building, we anticipate one of the largest Taco Fest turnouts yet.
