Join us for Taco Tuesday with Tim, a new lunchtime program at Gettysburg History.Historian Tim Smith will share stories of restaurants that once called Gettysburg home, from familiar names to places that have faded from memory. Using historic photos, brochures, and more, Tim will look at how these eateries fit into the fabric of everyday life in Gettysburg and how dining in town has changed over the years.
The taco bar will include soft shell flour tortillas and hard corn taco shells, fire-braised chicken, seasoned taco beef, Mexican rice, refried beans, chips & salsa, shredded cheddar, shredded lettuce, fresh pico de gallo, sour cream, and assorted cookies.
Spend your lunch hour enjoying good food and a look back at a lesser-known side of Gettysburg’s past!
$35/Gettysburg History Members; $40/General Admission.
