CLASS INFORMATION

Students will learn the basics of jewelry design and fabrication through 3 curated projects. You will be introduced to essential jewelry making hand tools, understand the properties of non-ferrous metals, and familiarize yourself with foundational techniques including sawing, roller mill texturing, ring sizing, annealing, soldering, marriage of metals, wire forming and patination. This 8-week course is perfect for those beginning or continuing their journey as a metalsmith using simple sheet metal fabrication techniques.
