We are delighted to announce that T2I WORLD Cup will be taking place between the 14th and 17th of March 2025. This highly anticipated event will see talented dancers from all around the world competing in exciting 15 categories.
The competition will be judged by a distinguished jury that has been carefully selected from some of the best and most respected dance professionals in the Tango World. We are committed to ensuring that the judging process is impartial, fair and of the highest standard possible.

What is important, different, and exciting?
1) WINNERS WILL BE MAESTROS AT TanGO TO istanbul: The T2i World CUP (TanGO TO istanbul World CUP) is scheduled to take place from March 14 to 17, 2025. The winners of the Tango Salon and Tango Escenario categories will be honored as MAESTROS at the 2026 TanGO TO istanbul, in addition to receiving a cash prize of 1500 Euros. Cash prizes will also be awarded to the second and third place winners.
2) COMPETITION AT BUENOS AIRES: The TangotoCUP Buenos Aires is set to occur from January 24 to 26, 2025, at the Abasto Hotel Buenos Aires. The winners of the Tango Salon and Tango Escenario categories will be awarded roundtrip flight tickets to the Istanbul T2i World CUP, along with complimentary accommodation at the festival hotel. Additionally, the second place finisher in the Tango Salon category will receive a free flight ticket to the Istanbul T2i World CUP, though accommodation will not be provided.
3) FLIGHT TICKETS TO ISTANBUL WORLD CUP: In locations such as Rome, London, Moscow, Ankara, and St. Petersburg, winners of the Tango Salon and Tango Escenario categories will receive a free roundtrip flight ticket from Europe to Istanbul, thereby qualifying for the T2i World CUP from the Semi Finals or Quarter Finals.
4) WORLD RANKING (VERY IMPORTANT): The WORLD RANKING ORDER among Tango Professionals will be established based on points accrued in competitions held in Antalya, Moscow, London, Rome, St. Petersburg, Ankara, and Buenos Aires. Following the final competition, TangotoCUP Buenos Aires, prior to the T2i World CUP, the couple that accumulates the highest points in the Tango Salon category will advance directly to the Finals, the second place couple to the Semi Finals, and the third place couple to the Quarter Finals at the T2i World CUP.
5) INTERNATIONAL JURY: In the T2i World CUP Final, for the Tango Salon and Tango Escenario categories, there will be an international jury comprising nine members: two Argentinians, one Turkish, one Russian, one Japanese, one Chinese, one Greek, one Italian, and one Colombian.
6) SKATING SYSTEM, NO POINTS: We do not use points system; instead, we utilize a Skating System whereby the ranking given by one to three jury members will not influence your position in the Finals.
7) NEW CATEGORIES: The T2i World CUP will feature 15 categories, including Group Choreographies and Tango Barre, which are relatively new to the Tango community. The finals for Group Choreography will be held simultaneously with the Tango Escenario finals and will be broadcast live on Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
8 ) OTHER PRIZES: In addition, there will be various prizes and sponsor gifts available for all categories at the T2i World CUP.
