Tiffany “T.Barb” Barber is a comedian and actress who quit a 14 year social work career to pursue her dreams. T.Barb is funny. Her hilarious stand up, online commentaries, skits and monologues keep her fans thoroughly entertained . The Detroit native known for her viral, ‘Only In Detroit’ series is a master stand up comedian who has been on multiple television networks including Amazon Prime, BET Soul, Fox, VICE, Tubi, NBC and ABC News to name a few. She has headlined The Motor City Comedy Festival, The Detroit Women of Comedy festival twice and also participated in the Traverse City Comedy Festival. She has also cohosted the award winning, “Live In The D’ and is a regular on all Metro Detroit news stations. T.Barb has also worked with some of the biggest stars including, Bill Bellamy, Jackie Kashian, DeRay Davis, Chante Moore, Trey Songz, Donnell Rawlings, Marsha Warfield, Micheal Colyar, ISMO and more. This funny phenom has also been featured on Keep Your Distance, Literary Death Match, America’s Got Talent, Ted Talk Detroit, Hour Detroit, MetroTimes, BLAC Magazine, VICE News and the Michigan Chronicle amongst other publications. She travels across the country sharing the gift of laughter and has performed at The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, Carolines on Broadway, The Mothership, Little Caesars Arena, Traverse City Opera House, Laugh Boston and hundreds of venues across the country. In addition, T.Barb’s humorous comedy album, “T.Barb Live at The Independent” is available on all platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and Tidal, which includes the comedy house music single, “Scoochie on The Coochie”.
T.Barb’s favorite quote is “You Don’t Have To Stay Where You Start”, because she never allowed humble beginnings to dictate her destiny. As a first generation college graduate Tiffany broke the curse of incarceration in her family, never allowing the odds to beat her. Born and raised in Detroit she furthered her education and later decided to pursue her dreams of making the world laugh. Always known for keeping a smile, she discovered stand up comedy and has been blazing stages since.
In addition to being a comedian and actress, T.Barb is also an author, vegan chef, philanthropist, producer, mother, small business owner and motivational speaker. This hysterical lady has also worked with State of Michigan’s Governor Gretchen Whitmer to open the state after the pandemic, later working with the team to create the concept for the Governor’s 2022 campaign anthem, “Gretch Did”, even appearing in the music video with viral rapper, G.Mac Cash. She has a passion for people and the community using her celebrity to benefit a multitude of organizations including her own non profit, T.Barb and Friends 501C3. Her books, “The Hoodrat Kitchen”, and “Faith Over Fear: Tales of a Retired Hoodrat” have both received rave reviews. T.Barb is a multifaceted powerhouse sure to become the next big star.
