Inspired by the Womens Museum 2026 programme, Materiality of Memory T A P E takes a look at the immaterial ways of oral storytelling and its significance in preserving memory, history and a legacy. From ancestral stories, stories passed on between women in a family and online preservation of one specific moment; May They Remember Us is a celebration of the fragments which have remained and the people uncovered while grieving the moments we’ll never know of.
The screening will be followed by an A Route to the Image filmmaker Reman Sadani to discuss her work around archives and oral storytelling.
