About this Event
Join us at Barnard Griffin in Woodinville as we explore the range of Sémillon (or Semillon, both are correct). Originating from Bordeaux, Sémillon grows worldwide and has a spectrum of styles. Commonly blended with Sauvignon Blanc, often called White Boredeaux blends. Sémillon is adaptable to many climates and styles of wine. It presents different flavor profiles depending on the region and winemaking techniques.
We’ll explore selections from around the globe—including Barnard Griffin’s own Sémillon.
This class will be led by Alaina Crawford, the Tasting Room Manager for Barnard Griffin - Woodinville, who holds a Level 3 certification in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
