In order to achieve a breakthrough, we must break something; inertia, a policy, a false assumption, a counterproductive metric, or a system constraint. Thinking in terms of a system, understanding cause and effect logic, and realizing the power of leverage points are critical to begin to shift our mindsets. Joe Cooper is the founder of Throughput Advisors, LLC, specializing in organizational productivity, executive advisory, business architecture, business analysis, project / program / portfolio management, process improvement, and agile transformation. He is a strategic partner of Future State Engineering which has the mission to help companies to "intentionally design their future-state to achieve operational excellence instead of leaving it to chance". His passion is working with organizations who want to transform their culture and ways-of-working to achieve breakthroughs in organizational outcomes.

Joe is an international speaker and enjoys engaging with audiences across different global cultures. He holds PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), TOC for Projects certification from the Theory of Constraints International Certification Organization (TOCICO), and a variety of scaled agile, scrum, and product management certifications. Joe earned BS degrees in Physics, Mathematics, and Professional Pilot Technology from Indiana State University.
