Syracuse Northside Lead Crises Townhall

Hey neighbors,
We really need to talk about what’s going on with our kids here on the Northside. Right now, 18% of our children are dealing with lead poisoning, and it’s completely unacceptable. Our families deserve to live in homes that are safe and free from this poison, and our leaders need to do something about it.
That’s why we’re putting together Let’s Talk Lead, a Townhall Meeting, and we need everyone to come out.
Here is what’s happening:
• Talk directly to our electeds: Syracuse City Auditor Alexander Marion and Onondaga County Legislature & State Assembly-Elect Maurice "Mo" Brown will be there. This is our chance to speak up, tell them how lead is affecting our loved ones, and demand real action.
• Get real help and resources: Oceanna Fair from Families for Lead Freedom Now will be on-site. She’s going to be handing out the actual information and resources we need to fight this and protect our households.
Whether you want to speak up for your community or just need to grab resources to keep your family safe, please show up. We have to look out for each other.
