Technology and democracy are becoming increasingly intertwined, creating an environment filled with both opportunities and challenges. We believe it is more important than ever to think about how we can develop meaningful tools and products that truly support and strengthen our democratic values.

That is why Bureau Moeilijke Dingen (BMD) is organizing a symposium and networking event on Technology & Democracy. Be inspired by our speakers, gain new ideas, and connect with like-minded professionals from government, the legal sector, refugee support, social design, and more.

• We live in a time of rapid change—think about the impact of social media on elections and ensuring equal access to the democratic process, as well as the growth of new technologies such as generative AI (including large language models).
• We have three captivating talks (speakers to be announced) exploring how technology and democracy can be meaningfully integrated.
• This event is a unique opportunity for industry professionals to network and collaborate with experts and peers in fields related to democracy.

• Location: Bureau Moeilijke Dingen, Gestelsestraat 238a, Eindhoven
• Parking: Free parking in the street, and a few spaces on our premises
• Wheelchair Accessible: The event takes place on the ground floor and is wheelchair-friendly
