***SAVE THE DATE ~ Saturday, April 5, 2025***The Daughters of Penelope Orion Chapter#130, Boston presents a "Symposium on Human Trafficking & Modern Slavery in Today's World" on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Maliotis Cultural Center on the campus of Hellenic College/Holy Cross in Brookline, MA
This day-long Symposium will feature esteemed experts in the many different areas of trafficking & slavery & will touch upon topics such as sexual exploitation, forced labor, domestic servitude & organ removal, along with public health concerns, law enforcement & training, & programs for survivors. There will also be a survivor of human trafficking who will speak about her experiences.
