In our first competition-style event, we invite a National champion judge to examine our students for their level passing and provide additional feedback for our studio - including instructors! Students will participate in rounds of dances by style (Rhythm, Smooth, and Nightclub) and show off what they've learned this year. Join us as a spectator to cheer on our brand-new students in what for many is their first time on a performance floor! Lunch is provided at the conclusion of the event.
MEET OUR JUDGE!
ANNELIECE LANGHOUGH has been dancing since she was 4.5 years old. She began her dance career with classical ballet and contemporary, and studied under the Royal Ballet of London in Mexico City. Later in life, she auditioned for the TV show “So You Think You Can Dance” and made it to the top 50 out of 5000 dancers in her city and many more around the US.
Anneliece began her ballroom career in 2010 and immediately started competing professionally. She and her partner became two-time Fred Astaire Rising Star Champions and six-time Rhythm Finalists, Fred Astaire National Showdance Champions, Freds Astaire World Champions, and Ohio Star Ball World Rising Rhythm Finalists and US Open and Rising Star Rhythm Finalists.
Anneliece was a Top Teacher of one of the largest Fred Astaire regions for 6 years straight, a Studio Owner for 8 years in New York, and moved to North Carolina in 2022 for a new adventure in life. She helps supervise the Greensboro studio and is excited to share her knowledge with the region.
Anneliece will also be available for coaching lessons for interested students, so please ask your instructor about scheduling a lesson for your opportunity to learn from this wonderful dancer and amazing coach!
