Meet your Storytellers:
STRIPPED BARE – Jane Thorpe
Ignoring her intuition, in a place she never dreamed possible, life stripped Jane bare. In a room with a stranger, this was more than a dark night of the soul. It was a secret identity, a turning point and a place to rise from self- betrayal to belief. She discovered that sometimes the best outcomes happen through the worst choices, once you put your big girl pants on.
TRUST ME? – Michael Fleck
A steamy August morning, Beijing 2008, a simple phone call - and in a heartbeat, two years’ planning and hundreds of thousands of dollars vanished as an Olympic broadcast venture collapsed taking with it what remained of Michael’s self-esteem. This led to a long downward spiral of collapsing business, soaring debt and ruined relationships. Failure taught Michael to trust himself and the result is nothing short of inspiring.
SPLIT HAPPENS – Naomi Cao
After 17 years married, Naomi’s husband announced, "I think we should separate." What followed was emotional turmoil and then the legal letters flooded in. Everyone advised her to "get yourself a lawyer." The process was financially, emotionally and physically costly. In the months that followed, Noami dug deep to trust herself, took control of her family law matter and is now supporting other divorcing women to trust themselves.
FREEFALL – Andrew Fenely
It’s 8.15am on an ordinary Saturday morning in August 2017. Andrew had just arrived at his retail business put his lunch in the fridge and said hello to one of his staff. His mobile rang, it was his partner Jules. Crying and out of breath she said “Andy I think Max is dead.”
STRANGE TRUST – Suzanne Rosa
Teenage homelessness taught Suzanne that trust isn’t about who you know - it’s about who you’re willing to trust. Strangers surprised her with kindness, proving that sometimes, the world’s most reliable connections can come from the unexpected. And maybe we need to stop waiting for others to prove themselves and go first. Show up, be trustworthy, and watch how quickly others follow.
LEGACY – Sugira Rubasha
From chasing a childhood dream of football to building an award-winning storytelling business, Sugira’s journey is a powerful reflection on identity, risk, and trust. Raised by parents who never clipped his wings, Sugira shares how their quiet belief shaped everything he’s become. Legacy is a moving reminder that when someone believes in your dream even before it makes sense it can change the entire trajectory of your life.
