Australian pianist James Dekleva launches his second Australia–Asia recital tour of 2026 in Sydney’s Utzon Room, continuing to Perth’s Government House Ballroom, Eslite Performance Hall in Taipei and Esplanade Recital Studio in Singapore.
At the heart of the recital is Tchaikovsky’s beloved Nutcracker, transformed by Mikhail Pletnev into a virtuosic concert suite for solo piano. The program brings together a varied selection of works before culminating in Pletnev’s spectacular reimagining of Tchaikovsky’s ballet.
