Hi everyone,We have been looking forward to offering Sydney Handpan Festival 2025!
Last year was an amazing festival with so much positive feedback and such great memories. This year's festival will take place from the afternoon of Thursday 13th February till Sunday mid-day 16th February.
We are excited to announce that this year we have a new venue, Happy Buddha in the Blue Mountains near Wenthworth Falls (around 1hr 35mins from Sydney and 10 mins from Wenthworth Falls station). This venue has improved accommodation with choices of single, double or triple rooms each with its own bathroom. We also have a lovely swimming pool and beautiful bush walks nearby.

The weekend will be packed with jams, workshops and handpan performances. The festival will include nourishing and yummy vegetarian food including breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by Happy Buddha Catering.
Our extra special guest this year is Iranian percussionist Sohrab Kolahdooz.
Sohrab is a versatile and accomplished percussionist with a Bachelor’s degree in Music. Renowned for his mastery of traditional Persian instruments such as the Tonbak, Daf, and Zurkhaneh drum, he has also gained recognition for his skill on the handpan, blending rhythmic complexity with melodic depth.
We are also pleased to again welcome Tim Tom from Celestial Sound, one of Australia's leading makers, who will be available to tune your handpan and share information about handpan making and history.

There will also be handpans for sale.
The festival will be all inclusive and we especially welcome beginners to start their journey with this special instrument (don't worry if you don't have an instrument as we can provide one for you to play with over the weekend). Experienced players are also most welcome to come as there will be workshops for all levels.

* Early bird: $600 (until 21st of December)
* Standard: $650
* Daily attendance with lunch and dinner: $150
The fee includes accommodation, food, workshops and performances. To book your place, please make a transfer to the bank account below. Please note that there are limited spaces available. The room allocation will be based on first come first serve (there are no price differences between rooms).
