Today, we will be graced by absolute darting royalty. We have a man who has etched his name into the very fabric of this great sport. A player who has seen it all, done it all, and thrilled audiences around the globe for decades.
Hailing from the Welsh valleys, this man took the darting world by storm in the 1990s. He is a former World Masters champion, and reached the absolute pinnacle of the sport, lifting that famous Embassy World Championship trophy and cementing his status as a true legend of the oche!
He is a masterful thrower, a fierce competitor, and an absolute crowd favorite.
So put on your favourite fancy dress costume, get on the ferry, warm up those vocal cords, and let’s blow the roof off! Please welcome former World Champion “The Prince of Wales” RICHIE BURNETT.
Richie IS one of THE LEGENDS of the sport of darts. However he is still firing very hot, reaching the Quarter Finals of PDC UK Open in 2023 and Winning Event 1 of the prestigious PDC Challenge tour in 2024. Just last year he reached the Semi-Finals of the World Seniors Champion of Champions, proving that his scoring power, unmistakable throw, and sheer love for the game are completely intact.
He remains a dangerous opponent on his day and a massive draw for darts fans worldwide. So can any of our talented local players beat the great dartsman on the pressure cooker stage in front of a baying crowd?
