Sydney West Riders (SWR) is a social motorcycling community that was established in 2012. SWR conducts weekly rides every Wednesday night to unite local riders in Western Sydney. Over the years, the community grew exponentially to over 12,000 Facebook members (still growing) and has been engaged in numerous community projects with charitable organizations and local businesses.
In late 2018, Sydney West Riders unlocked its track day arm, 𝗦𝗪𝗥 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗗𝗔𝗬𝗦 becoming Australia’s and New South Wales newest Ride Day Providers. After hosting over 80 events at Luddenham Raceway, SWR added Sydney Motorsport Park into their calendar in 2022

The driven vision behind this is to:
- Inspire and unite street riders into track riders
- Provide a platform for riders to liberate their riding ambitions in a safe and controlled environment.
- Welcome riders of all levels to ride in groups that is suitable to their pace.
- Encourage track riders to ultimately get into amateur racing to promote the Motorsport

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝘂𝗻?
- Scrutineering and registration from 5:30pm
- Riders briefing begins at 6:10pm
- Track session commences 6:30pm-10:30pm
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻?
🟪 Purple – First time ever on a race track and/or still prefer to take it slow/ inexperienced
⬜White – First time at Luddenham Raceway/or still prefer to take it steady/newcomer
🟨 Yellow – Experienced Medium
🟥 Red – Experienced Fast
Groups may change based on number of attendees and operational requirements. Participants will not be allowed to change groups unless instructed by organizers. All participants have the responsibility to ensure they are prepared for their sessions.
⛔ 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗦:
This is not limited to but includes:
- All track bikes must have a red emitted rear light installed.
- Full leathers (including longer length gloves and boots)
- Full face helmet meeting approved standards
- Riders license
- Protected engine cover on bike
- Chain adjusted correctly and lubricated
- No leaking fluids e.g. oil, coolant and brake fluid
- Tyres clear of any punctures and are deemed satisfactory for track.
- There are no refunds.
- In an event of wet weather, the ride day will still proceed. Only if deemed unsafe/cancelled by the track owner, then you may reschedule to one of our other dates.
🔴𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘:
- All track bikes must have a red emitted rear light installed.
- All supermoto/motards motorcycles must have foot peg sliders. Luddenham Raceway strictly prohibits bikes to go on track without sliders.
- Spectators can attend the event FREE
- The Sydney Motorsport Park circuit is accessible for participating riders of our event at 5:30pm.
