We are very excited to announce Swords In The Smokies!! This is a historical combat tournament that we have been planning for 5 years.
The Swords In The Smokies Tournament for 2026 will consist of a one handed synthetic sword tournament on Saturday May 23rd.
This will be a point based tournament. Each match going to the first fighter to score 7 points.
We will be posting rules and gear requirements to our page shortly so keep an eye out for that.
the tournament will be for those 10 and up. under 18 require parents
$30 entry fee
$40 gear rental fee
The entry fee will cover your spot in.the tournament. We will also provide a sword,mask padded gloves and simple torso protection.
The gear rental fee will cover the use of HEMA jackets, HEMA skirts, over the head protection, arm and leg armor
We encourage you to bring your own protective equipment, all equipment including swords will be inspected by Everblade to make sure they meet all our safety standards. if you have any questions please send us a message.
The top three fighters will receive medals and this will be a double elimination tournament so everyone is guaranteed 2 fights at the minimum.
