Join me for a sword choreography series to the classic song “Jemillah” by Salaam! Please read class times and locations carefully as they do change slightly below!
Looking to delve into the art of sword? This dance will teach you basics of sword dance and performance, sword safety, different balances and tricks as we move through the choreography. Modifications will be available and discussed throughout the choreography and classes as needed.
Don’t have a sword? Please send me a message and I will see how many extra swords are available to borrow.
Prior belly dance is recommended for this class.

Tuesday, March 17: 6:45-7:45pm at Kinections, 718 University Ave, Rochester
Tuesday, March 24:6:45-7:45pm Kinections, 718 University Ave, Rochester
Tuesday, March 31: 6:30-7:30pm at Kinections, 718 University Ave, Rochester
We will take a break in April.

Performance opportunity at Iron Smoke Distillery showcase June 10th. If you are planning on performing, it is expected that you attend most of the classes and practice on your own.

A little about me and my love of sword…
Holly has studied with many different sword teachers including Belladonna, Arielle Tyson, Silvia Salamanca, Cele Acuna, Irina Akulenko and Matan. She is a level 3 certified Bohemian Blade Warrior through Belladonna Boheme’s program ( we will not be learning this technique) and continues her sword studies to constantly hone her technique and learn new skills. She is so excited to share the art of sword dancing with you during this session!
