Join us at Swoon Books & Wine for a celebration of Regency-era romance, literary traditions, and the art of a perfectly proper afternoon. Sip your tea, indulge in an assortment of delicate sweets, and immerse yourself in the charming customs of an era when a well timed glance could say everything, the wave of a fan could send a message, and a handwritten letter could change your life.

Your afternoon includes a thoughtfully curated high tea featuring scones with cream and jam and other delectables from Central Perc. You'll also receive a souvenir paperback of The Duchess Heist, which will be custom signed by author Marisa Dillon, to add a little romance to your bookshelf.

But what would a proper society gathering be without a few diversions? Discover the art and etiquette of the using a fan during an interactive demonstration with Marisa, then put your Regency knowledge to the test with Jane Austen and Regency-era trivia. You'll even have the opportunity to explore the art of historical correspondence with a demonstration featuring traditional inkwells, ink, and quill pens inspired by Jane Austen's manuscripts.

And naturally, no Regency-inspired affair would be complete without a little accessory. You'll receive a custom Swoon folding fan to personalize and enjoy as part of an activity with the author.

Period attire is encouraged, but never required. And trust us, there’s no such thing as “too much” when it comes to dressing for a proper high tea. So dust off your corsets, fluff those petticoats, and dress to impress.
