πΏ SWITCH OFF β Learn the Art of Calm
I'm so excited to announce my next workshop at the beautiful Cucumber Fields in Essendon!
Do you struggle to switch off, even when you're exhausted?
Your mind won't stop racing. You find yourself endlessly scrolling, overthinking conversations or lying awake worrying about things you can't control.
Even when you finally have time to relax, you can't quite seem to settle.
Sound familiar?
Our brains and bodies develop familiar patterns of thinking, feeling and responding. And sometimes those patterns keep us feeling stressed, overwhelmed and constantly switched on. our bodies react to this, and feel tense, constantly bracing, tight jaw....
But what if you could learn a different way?
Learning to switch off isn't just about relaxation. It's about changing your relationship with your thoughts, emotions and experiences, so they don't have to consume you.
Drawing on my Embodied Trauma Therapy approach, this nurturing 75-minute workshop explores the powerful connection between your brain, nervous system and body and how mindfulness can help you step back from racing thoughts, gain perspective and find more calm in everyday life.
Through gentle somatic movement, restorative yoga, calming breathwork and a deeply relaxing guided meditation, you'll experience practical ways to support your nervous system and begin creating new patterns of calm.
You'll also leave with a personalised audio to help you carry this art of calm into your everyday life.
Because we can't always control what life throws at us, but we can learn to respond to our experiences differently.
