Founded by trombonist Tim Owen, this eight-member ensemble brings a powerful and unique sound to the Midwest music scene, fueled by the timeless hits of the ‘70s and ‘80s and a horn section that sets them apart from the rest.
More than a tribute band, Switch in Time reimagines favorites by Chicago, Santana, Doobie Brothers, Huey Lewis, Earth Wind & Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, Steely Dan, Phil Collins, and more. Their song choices dig deeper than the usual covers, offering audiences a fresh and vibrant take on classic tracks—anchored by soaring brass melodies that act like a second voice weaving through every arrangement.
