This is a single dance class on Thursday, an hour of class and an hour of social dancing afterwords.
The goal of this class is to switch roles (lead/follow) between dances and during the dance. This is a great exercise to get out of your comfort zone and learn what it's like for your partners, and/or a great opportunity to try dancing the opposite role and mix things up with your Lindy Hop! You will get plenty of opportunities and help with both leading and following for this class.
No partner needed, no experience needed
Located downstairs in the Historic USO building in downtown Wilmington, at Orange and 2nd St
This class is $10, cash and venmo at the door.
We suggest clothes that are comfortable to exercise in and if you can wear shoes that are not too grippy on the floor that will make any spins and movement easier! Feel free to reach out or ask any additional questions that would make you more comfortable getting started with swing dancing or showing up for your first class!
