Looking for a unique way to spend a Saturday evening? Want to help support live music in the Flint Area? Look no further than Flint Powers Catholic's first ever Swing Dance! From 6:00PM until 9:00PM, come and enjoy a night of music and dance, revisiting the glory days of the swing dances of the 1930s and 40s! We will be featuring our Powers Catholic High School Jazz Band, as well as the professional Kearsley Street Big Band and Brick Street Septet!
Never had the chance to swing dance? No problem! We will be having dance instruction for the first hour with large group lesson at 6:45!
Tickets can be purchased at the door (cash only), and will be $10 for students and senior citizens, $15 for adults, and $40 for a family of four or more. Powers students get in for free with ID, and all funds will go to support the Powers Catholic HS Department of Fine and Performing Arts!
