Swing Dance is an umbrella term that covers a variety of dances, danced to swing music. In this “Choose Your Own Adventure” workshop, you can taste a new swing dance style, or a couple, or spend the whole afternoon playing in the swing dance sand box. Ideal for those brand new to swing dancing – in just one afternoon, sample the main dances taught at Swing Patrol classes. Also great for dancers with experience in one style and now keen to learn others, for those refreshing the basics, or for exploring your non-dominant role. All sessions are suitable for beginners.
SCHEDULE:
12.30pm – 1.45pm Lindy Hop (with Kate Bray & Jason John)
2.00pm – 3.15pm Balboa (with Denise Cox & Ian Caughley)
3.30pm – 4.45pm Collegiate Shag (with JC Storace & Ash McLean)
