Saturday November 23, 7-10 pm: Swing 5 returns to the Meadworks for a memorable night of Django Jazz and swing dancing. These talented musicians will grab your heartstrings and transport you back to France in the 1930s. Begin with the heartbeat of a slap bass and the pulse of two rhythm guitars. Add to it melodic runs sweetly played on the accordion and a soaring fiddle. What you get is the Swing 5 band playing Django Jazz and swing music from a time when a night out meant live music that provokes the uncontrollable urge to dance! So, bring a swing partner and a thirst for mead and head over the Meadworks Saturday night!Free event. Indoor and outdoor seating. Tipping encouraged.
