Swim with a First Responder @ Daytona Lagoon
About this Event
This free community event brings together foster and at-risk youth with local first responders for a morning focused on connection, confidence, and water safety.
Kids will participate in guided swim lessons in the Daytona Lagoon wave pool, followed by hands-on first responder demonstrations and interactive experiences with the people who serve our community every day. 🚒
⭐️ Children who participate in the swim lesson portion will receive a wristband for free admission to Daytona Lagoon when the park opens at 10:00 a.m.
Through time in the water and positive interactions with mentors and first responders, children build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of belonging.
At 2 Walk on Water and Every Kid Swims, we believe water can be a powerful tool for healing and growth. This event is designed to pair water-based learning with supportive relationships, creating an environment where children can experience encouragement, joy, and new skill development that extends beyond the day itself. 🩵
