Swim Stroke Filming Clinic - March Edition

Seeing yourself on film is THE best way to improve your swimming. But all city pools in Ottawa have strict rules prohibiting filming during public lane swim times. This event allows me to film you swimming, give you some technical feedback, and then give you the footage to own and use for subsequent analysis.

This event is open to past, present, and future athletes of True Trail Triathlon Coaching, as well as other approved guests. We will have the pool to ourselves for the hour, which means we can do as much filming as we want. I will have an underwater GoPro action camera that I will use to film every athlete twice. Once near the beginning of the session, and once near end. Each film will include 25m of underwater-front and 25m of underwater-side angle

One lane will be the designated filming lane that all athletes will rotate through. When you are not being filmed, you are free to swim your own workout, work on drills, swim a workout I gave you, or film each other! After your first film, I encourage you to work on the drills and technique cues I gave you.

After the event, everyone will receive their footage to own. Additional technical feedback can be requested via a virtual coaching session and billed separately.

Participant count for this event will be capped at 10 people.

Pricing:

The cost to rent the pool for 1 hour during this slot, plus other fees and charges, is just over $400CAD. Hence I am just looking for all participants to split cost equally. More people = lower cost. If we get 10 people, cost will be $45
