Swim across Lake Washingon
(Date & details are preliminary. Target: Early August.)
[Going] = Seriously considering:
- swim;
- or swim escort (boat/SUP/etc);
- or join the finish party.
[Interested] = Most likely no, but wanna follow the event.
I’ve always wanted to do this. No time like the present - let’s do it!
* We will pick a route to cross lake WA swimming.
Think: +/- 4km.
(We'll try find a way to incorporate folks who'd like it shorter.)
* Safety is important. You must be well qualified to comfortably swim the target distance across open water, while being 2+ km away from the shore.
We will have folks accompany us on SUPs or small boats. However, see the very important disclaimer at the bottom!
* Let's start discussing the details on the event wall. If needed, we can switch to a group chat later.
Fun ideas:

Anybody else is very welcome, but please make sure to mark Going (not merely Interested), so we know you are coming.
The initial invite list is probably pretty random. Please add everybody I missed!
