About this Event
Swim 1922 is a partnership with USA Swimming that helps spread awareness about swimming dangers and helps in encouraging the youth to swim and swim safely. Drowning rates affect Black and Brown populations at a disproportionately higher rate. By teaching children of these communities how to swim, we decrease those statistics and improve chances of survival and expertise in the water!
This event is for children ages 5-15, will include presentations on water safety, a Storytime Segment with books about swimming, Pool Time, and Lunch which food will be provided.
**Children under 7 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian in the pool.
