Crafting Arts

Students create a variety of functional pieces using crafting techniques and processes like a colorful pillowcase, a painted ceramic coaster, etc. 

Dates: August 10-13

Class size: 4-9 students

Cost: $120 (includes materials fee)

About the Instructor

Jenn Swenson (that’s me!) has 20 years professional experience teaching her own award-winning art curriculum to all ages in both the public school system and through her art studio. She has both a bachelors degree and a masters degree in art education. She teaches drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, and more!

Along with teaching art, Jenn creates commissioned artworks and runs a graphic design business. She also maintains a storefront selling her art curricula and resources to art educators. She is also a muralist and, at times, an artist in residence. She has even written and illustrated an award-winning children’s book.
