About this Event
Paul and Emily are coming together to create a breathwork and sound experience to decompress after the weekend and ground into intentions for the new year.
This is an opportunity to care for your body and mind using proven, accessible methods for somatic processing and inner navigation. Invigorate your nervous system and access altered states with kinetic breathwork, then come into synchronicity with the world around you on a river of meditative, primordial sound.
Paul de Konkoly Thege is a Bay Area–based facilitator who integrates intentional breathing, mindfulness, and live acoustic instrumentation to create accessible, restorative experiences. He leads recurring sessions at The Battery SF and facilitates workshops at private events and retreats across Northern California and New York.
Emily Miller (Calia) has studied jazz and classical vocal theory, and has performed in many styles throughout her musical career. Most recently she has collaborated on vocal activations and sound meditations at The Center SF and Ecstatic Dance.
We welcome newcomers and experienced practitioners alike. Please bring:
- A yoga mat
- Eye mask
- Blanket or cozy warm layer
- Comfortable clothing
Doors will open early, the experience will start promptly at 3pm, with some time to chat and integrate at the end of the session.
We are offering free entry for anyone who purchases a 5-pass package to Ecstatic Dance. Just show us your same-day transaction.
We are so excited to create this container for you all!
