Join us for a new SweetDaniB cookie class offering: COOKIE BAKE CLUB! 

Each month, we will showcase either a cookie flavor or a specific style of cookie. Participants are encouraged to bring one batch of their own version to share and swap with the class. We will discuss origin stories, recipes, bakers notes, favorites, recipes gone wrong and more! 

The March Cookies are... Brownies, Blondies & Bars!

For years I'd patiently wait until December when my Grandma Nettie would bake her beloved Santa Snacks! I also make a Smore's Blondie that derives from a classic Martha recipe! What is your favorite bar cookie? Awesome! Is your recipe you Great Grandmother's? Sweet! What kind of ingredients do you use? There is really so much to discuss in Cookie Club!

The act of baking for me is more than just a business… It’s a quiet interlude, a place to have fun and experiment, a way to look back and pay tribute, and a way to share and spread love with something I’ve made. 

Each class includes a box of six SweetDaniB cookies reflecting the theme as well as an empty box to take your cookie swaps home. BYOB. In addition, we will have water and other beverages available to purchase.

BYOB. Adults only. 10 spaces available. Cookie Club will be approx 1.5 to 2 hours long. Registration for this event will close Friday, February 20th. Cookie Club will be held at SweetDaniB Cookie Kitchen, 717 Bangs Ave, Asbury Park NJ

COOKIE WORKSHOP FAQ:

Our tables are communal so be prepared to sit with others. Our cookies classes are a great way to make new friends.

Ticketholders at Tables Only: Due to room capacity constraints in our space we are only able to accommodate ticket holders at our tables.

FLU& COVID Policy: Our tables are communal- you will be seated with others. Please be respectful of other people's health. Please do not attend class if you have a cough or are sick in any way.

Timing: Please arrive promptly or 5 minutes before class. Due to our limited capacity we can not accommodate any earlier arrivals. We do have a bench outside for waiting. Cookie club will last for an hour to an hour and a half depending!

Coffee and Snacks: No outside food allowed but we welcome BYO beverages. LUSH is our fave liquor store in town and Goldrush Coffee is right next door (check hours). There are also many fun places nearby to grab a cocktail or meet up for dinner afterward. Ask us for recommendations.

Cookie Allergy Disclaimer: Sweet Dani B cookies are preservative free and are baked with the freshest ingredients... butter eggs sugar flour and a few secret ingredients that make them extra yummy. Our recipe does not include nuts but our cookies and icing is made in a kitchen where nuts are present. In the workshop we will be using various candies to decorate our cookies some of which originate in facilities that process nuts. Our royal icing is made with sugar and meringue powder.

Photo Release: We take lots of photos in our classes. Please let us know if you prefer not to be photographed.

Parking: Parking in Asbury Park is pay at the meter parking. You can also download the ASBURY PARK app.

Dining In the Area: If you are attending Cookie Club and would like to grab a bite do not miss the deliciousness of the restaurants in Asbury Park! There are many restaurants in walking distance to our shop and others that are just a 5 minute drive away. Email us for recommendations.

Refunds: Due to limited seating and the individual prep work required for each cookie icer in attendance our cookie workshops are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend you are more than welcome to transfer your seat to someone else. Alternately we can hold your set of cookies for you to pick up at a later date. Please reach out to schedule pick up.
