About this Event

🌸 Sister, there is a place at the table waiting just for you.

Come along for a beautiful walk of sisterhood in Christ through Chinatown as we enjoy sweet treats, meaningful conversation, and faith-filled connection. This is a space for women to come together in unity, encouragement, and joy.

🌸 Come as You Are: Your Invitation to Connection

Sister, if your soul is craving deep, life-giving conversations, a room full of genuine smiles, and a sweet pause from the busyness of daily life—this space was created just for you.

This isn't just a food tour; it's a intentional journey of connection. Whether you come with a friend or step out in faith on your own, you will find open arms, sweet treats, and a community of women ready to lift you up, laugh with you, and walk alongside you in faith.
🎀 A Fun Touch: To celebrate our unity and sisterhood, we invite everyone to wear your favorite shade of pink! Let’s fill Chinatown with a beautiful sea of joy and grace.

🗺️ A Taste of Our Sweet Journey Together

To keep a little magic in our afternoon, the exact map, names, and addresses of our secret sweet spots will be tucked safely inside a special welcome card you'll receive when you arrive!

📍 The Welcome Mat (Our Meeting Point)

Location: Chinatown Branch, Chicago Public Library (2100 S Wentworth Ave, Chicago, IL )

Our journey begins at Chinatown’s beautiful, modern public library right on the corner of Wentworth and Archer.

  • Where to find us: Look for the sea of pink! We will gather right in front of the library to check in, meet one another, and pass out your welcome card.
  • 🌧️ Weather Note: Don't let the weather dampen your spirits! If it is raining, we will gather right inside the library lobby instead to stay cozy and dry before we step out together.

🚗 Parking Tips for Our Sisters

To make your arrival as stress-free as possible, here are the best parking options around our library meeting point and Chinatown Square:

Street Parking & Meter Exceptions: There is metered street parking along Wentworth, Cermak, and Archer Avenues. Also, West of the Dan Ryan (Near Ping Tom Park): Pockets of S. Stewart Ave or W. 19th Street (west of the main commercial area) often have free parallel parking spaces.

SpotHero (Zero-Stress Advance Booking): If you want to skip the search for a spot entirely, we highly recommend downloading the SpotHero app ahead of time. You can pre-book a guaranteed spot in a secure lot, driveway, or garage just a block or two away from the library for a flat afternoon rate, ensuring you can walk right up to the group with time to spare!

💖 Gentle Notes for Your Day:
  • Wear What’s Comfortable: We'll be doing a light, easy walk (about 10–15 minutes total over the whole afternoon), so wear your favorite walking shoes!
  • A Palate for Sweetness: Come ready to treat yourself—we'll be sampling everything from artisanal rolled ice cream to premium boba and fruit crepes.
  • An Open Heart: You don't have to have it all together to be here. Just bring yourself. We can’t wait to welcome you into this sisterhood!
