Sweet Streets Fun Ride
About this Event
Join us this family-friendly ride as we explore some of Culver City’s tastiest, coolest treats!
Learn to explore safer routes and new communities as we visit awesome scoop shops for free samples.
This ride is approximately 12 miles on city streets and bike paths. There are some hills on the Ballona Creek Bike Path. We will start at the Culver City Bike Hub at the Metro Station, (Venice Blvd. side), head West to Handel's Ice Cream, then to Ginger's Divine Ice Cream, head back to Mateo's on end at Van Leeuwan's at the Platform (across from the train station).

Want a shorter ride? Meet us at Handel's and begin your adventure there
All ages welcome (Note: This is not a learn to ride ride. Riders must be able to ride several miles unassisted on city streets. Training wheels, balance bikes and tricycles are not alllowed. )
This event is part of the Culver City Safe Routes to School program.
When: Sunday, May 24, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM (please arrive early for a pre-ride safety check)
Meet at: The Bike Hub at Ivy Station
What to Bring: Bike in good working order, helmet (required for all riders), water, snacks sunscreen and wear comfortable clothing, including closed toed shoes.
