Sweatlodges are profound, deep, and healing experience. Our lodge stands on the marshland overlooking the open fields. It is a place of peace and tranquillity, steeped in the mystery of the land and full of bird song.
If the lodge is full when you request a space you can ask to be put on to a waiting list if you are fully committed to keeping that date free should a space become available.
Please bring £40 CASH donation on the day, to cover overheads and vegetarian meal after lodge.
Please bring your own drinking water and your own packed lunch.

What is a Sweatlodge.
The Sweatlodge represents the gestating void, the womb, the earth belly of the mother. We enter with respect, honour, and trust. We attune to the seasonal energies throughout the day. We devote the whole day to the lodge experience. From the covering of the frame and selecting the sacred rocks; then preparing and lighting of the fire. The rocks are heated in the fire so that their ancient wisdom and healing can be released. We create old crafts that attune us to the festival we are celebrating.
Lynn and Wendy will guide you gently through this beautiful ceremony. Having facilitated many lodges over the years, we will lead you through this most healing and beautiful ceremony with love and integrity.
Wild Woman Is Calling
Oh! the wild primal woman is bursting with the need of escape, escape from the gentleness and the sweetness into the wild and untamed part of who she really is , to meet again that wild woman who is not restrained by conformity or the bonds that only touch the surface of her realness and the authenticity of who she really is, the sheer power of naked painted woman dancing wildly and free around the fire, looking deeply into the flames that dance with her, revealing the fire spirits reaching out to meet her, sparks igniting, passion deeper and deeper. Oh! how she yearns to crawl on the earth again, to have the earth oozing through her toes, imbedded deeply in her skin, in her hair, and her nails, to sit in the dark of the mother’s womb, feeling the safety of her membrane, her cells, the boundary keeping them safe within. Feeling the strength of her bones that encase her, bathed in her fragrance off cool damp earth, mixed with the aroma plant spirits among the lingering smell of wood smoke.
Held within her body, loving, holding and supporting. Sweat and tears running into the earth, hot burning heat, a oneness, the void that fills and captures every essence, of every sense, a journey into the world of all worlds, present, yet not present, walking between the worlds that intertwine. Oh! to crawl out on all fours into the welcoming arms of rebirth embracing rebirth, seeing all with real eyes, at one with the realness, releasing the scream from within that will release them, the primal scream of the wild woman with sword and shield held high, banishes all that does not serve her. Wild woman free, is beckoning, calling, calling, calling, oh! yes she calls and onto the earth, onto the earth she lays, onto the earth she inhales her fragrance deep, as mother, son and daughter embrace the dance of the journey of the wild woman in all her essence, in her realness.
