Brief description: The focus of this training is Hostage Rescue with emphasis on a wide range of tactics including explosive entries/access.
Fitness statement: This course requires high levels of fitness and the class learning objective will fatigue the student.
Day 1 Meeting Location: Northeast Alabama Law Enforcement Academy, 100 Gamecock Drive, Anniston, AL 36205 (Exact Classroom # is to be determined). Signs will be posted on the morning of day 1 which classroom will be used.
Lodging: Tuition does not include lodging. Students must make their own arrangements.
Credentialing: This course is for certified, active and credentialed law enforcement officers only possesing arrest authority.
Each student needs to bring:
o Wrap around eye protection/ear protection
o Body armor/tactical vest/gas mask
o Weapon mounted Flashlights
o Serviceable duty pistol and rifle with 3 magazines
o Ammunition for duty pistol: 100 Rounds
o Ammunition for duty rifle or sub-gun: 200 Rounds
o Long sleeve t-shirt or light weight jacket
o 100 Non lethal training ammunition for pistol
o 50 Force on Force 5.56 rounds
