Some people are tops, some are bottoms but here at PopRox we're all switches. In the age of Tik Tok and Reels, our average attention span has maxed out at 7 minutes so PopRox has crafted a show where everything swaps on a buzzer. The cast, the musician and even the tech operator swap roles with each other after just 7 minutes. It's a character based, high-speed romp pushing top improv comedians to the brink of their skills and their sanity. If you don't like what you see, you'll have the chance to change it up and swap it around.Expect huge characters, heaps of laughs, stitch-ups and people so far out of their skill zone it'll remind you of the coalition government. No night is the same. Not even every quarter hour is the same.
PopRox is a professional improv theatre company entering its 5th year of operation. Having dazzled audiences across Te-Whanganui-A-Tara, the motu and even the world, PopRox's slick and stylish improvisation has received critical acclaim and delighted sold out audiences.
