Join us for the SW Bend Firewise Neighborhood Event! Wildfire poses a significant risk to our community in Central Oregon. Come learn with your neighbors about how to protect your home.

Melissa Steele, Bend Deputy Fire Marshall, will provide an overview of the impact that wildfires can have on communities, practical steps you can take to protect your home, and strategies to prepare your family.

• Reduce risk by stengthening home and landscapes with defensible space
• How to create neighborhood and family evacuation plans

In addition to the information session, there will be an opportunity to learn about grant money available to assist in making your personal property more wildfire resistent .
