Join the SVdP Friends of the Poor Walk with the Conference at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola!
Join parishioners from St Ignatius Loyola and the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul community from across New York City in supporting our efforts on behalf of our neighbors in need. This event is all about fellowship and service while also getting some exercise! We will meet outside St. Patrick's near 51st Street at 9:30AM to gather and receive a blessing, then the group will walk to our home church St Ignatius Loyola (just over 2 miles) for a Mass and lunch. Donations are optional. All proceeds will go to our efforts to support our neighbors in need of assistance through our Home Visits program and other service programs including Homeless Outreach and others.
The day: Gather outside St. Patrick's Cathedral at 5th Avenue and E51st Street (9:30 AM) • Walk to St. Ignatius Loyola (Park and 84th Street) • Mass and Luncheon (until circa 1:30 PM)
