SUTTON VALENCE CHORAL SOCIETYAn uplifting evening with SVCS under the baton of its new conductor Anthony Osborne.
SVCS will be joined , for the first time, by the Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert will feature
Gabriel Fauré's serene and comforting setting of the Requiem Mass, known for its beautiful melodies, especially the famous Pie Jesu, offering a peaceful, consoling experience, and
Vivaldi's Gloria, a setting of the Latin Hymn, features joyful choruses, contrasting slow movements, and virtuosic solo parts for sopranos and contraltos, set off by rich orchestral instrumentation. The concert will support the Kent & Medway Young Musicians Trust
