Sustainapalooza is an annual companion event to Iowa State's Symposium on Sustainability. A different green theme is explored every year, and this year's theme is "Our Green Community, Our Sustainable Future."A highlight of Sustainapalooza is our unique GIY "Green-It-Yourself" Centers that provide creative opportunities to make products.
At the event, participants also enjoy refreshments made with local ingredients, a clothing swap, sustainability-inspired artwork, as well as sustainability research posters and organization tabling displays.
Sustainapalooza offers a great way to network with other sustainability leaders from campus and the Ames community, and encourages attendees to participate by taking a walk on the Green Carpet, adding a sustainability pledge to the Green Wall and snapping a selfie at the Cy-lebrity Photo Booth!
